Review: I'm a huge fan of junji ito so I normally pick his books at random because I trust his work. unfortunately this time I was quite disappointed, while the art style was the same it is extremely tame in comparison to some of the others I've read. My favourite part about junji books is how weird and gross the artwork gets so that was a big let down for me. Another thing I typically like about junji is that his stories are wild and original but again with this I just found it fell quite flat and didn't seem like his usual work. It's probably just a once off for me and I'm sure there are plenty of people that like this but for me it was a rare miss.
