Review: After having read My Single Friend, I immediately added all books by Jane Costello to my must read list. Because of the rave reviews of Girl on the Run, I saved it especially for my late summer holiday. Additionally my partner was caught with the jogging bug last year, so I thought it would be fun to read about some familiar situations (exept the thong situation of course). I was hooked from the start and I thoroughly enjoyed the story. The funny moments, but definitely the touching more sensitive moments. It was not only a light and fun holiday read, but I really liked how readers are made aware of what people like Heidi go through every day. And the hero Tom *sigh*. I could totally picture Henry Cavill as Tom, so sexy. Abby was a very well-rounded character for whom I rooted from start to finish. To me it was very believable that some male characters have fallen head over heels in love with her. All the subplots and characters added something to the story and never dragged it down. So I would very much recommend this book and save it for when you have the time to read it in one go. You just won't put it down.
