Review: I read this book in 2 nights. It's one of those books you can't put down. What Denise and the rest of her family went through is absolutely heartbreaking. It is also an eye opener as to how the system failed them and little James. Definitely a must read

Review: Heartbreaking my heart aches for Denise such an incredible woman and mother. Her strength and courage is admirable. I was the same age as Venables and Thompson when they took James and brutally murdered him, I remember seeing James this beautiful toddler and I remember hearing that 2 10year old boys were responsible and I was shell shocked and I couldn't believe 2 kids the same age would be this evil.. I knew at 10yrs old that you don't abduct and murder a child,they are pure evil, they knew what they were doing they were old enough to understand. I also spoke with a female prison officer who I randomly met at work 1 night 3years ago and I got chatting to her and she told me that when venables was in jail, female screws weren't allowed to go near his cell, as when they used to take his dinner he used to purposely masturbate when they were entering and he used to laugh as her was doing so. As she said to me 1 bullet is all it would take. Sweetdreams James ???? Big hugs Denise ????
