Review: I love this book. I had never read either of these books so this was a good chance to do so. I am part way through Iliad and I am really enjoying it. The quality of the book itself is really good. The pages are not too thin and the cover looks great. The first thing I done when I took it out of the box it came in was go straight on Amazon and look at what other books they have. I plan on getting more so that my book shelf looks nice and sophisticated.

Review: The book itself is bound well, and good quality pages, and the price is excellent. Getting both works of Homer in one book is also pretty convenient. However, there are two major let downs for me (and a star off for each), these being: - each page uses 2 columns for the layout, which makes it harder to read than it needs to be, and (the big one); - for some weird reason, the translator decided to use the Roman god names...sometimes, rather than the Greek ones. This might have made sense if it was set or written later, but this was written around 200 years before the Roman empire even got started. Even more troublesome is they don't do this consistently, and in some places refer to the gods by their Greek names - pretty unhelpful! Personally, I'd look for a different translation, but at the price this will be hard to beat.
