Review: I am on the second time in reading the book! I like real stories and to see what the Jewish community went through. At school I read, "Anne Frank" diary of a Jewish girl a what they went through. Love it!!!!

Review: This is the true story of how a small religious community in Hungary, at great risk to their own safety, sheltered a number of Jewish children during WW2 by admitting them to the convent school they ran. The book tells not only about the heroism of the nuns but also explores the emotions felt by the girls separated from their parents, who were often in mortal peril and, many of whom did not survive. It was an inspiring book to read and put into perspective some of our current day-to-day issues.
