Review: My kids (5 of them) loved these books as kids. Now I’m giving them to grandkids, with a stuffed frog. They are wonderful pictures, and the frog is VERY expressive. I got to point out everyone’s expressions as I related what was happening. These are fantastic!!

Review: I am a speech and language pathologist who works with children with language delay. Often they are unable to tell a story, let alone write one for class assignments. The Frog books are among the favorites for upper elementary children, and with assistance they can come up with very good stories. This may take some extra vocabulary training, however it is nearly always successful. Mercer Mayer's illustrations are very cute and engaging, even for younger students. It is often a game with the young ones to find where Frog has hidden himself. All of Mayer's books are highly recommended!
