Review: This was a very cheap download from Amazon. It was an excellent quick read about a young man trying to regain his memory in WW1. The harsh brutality of this war is described in sickening detail and the futility of it is emphasised as the young soldier gradually regains his memory. Themes such as right versus wrong, good versus bad, bravery versus cowardice and the issue of justice are contained within these few pages. A very powerful story and thought provoking book. An excellent read at a ridiculously low price!
