Review: I am 3/4's of the way through the book and cannot recommend this book highly enough for anyone suffering from OCD or indeed those who have a loved on that suffers from it. Whether suffering from mild or severe OCD in either of it's forms this book gives an superbly factual, clear understanding of the condition. It also helps the reader to understand that they are not alone and that there is hope in overcoming the utterly unfair suffering that people with the condition place on themselves. The book does state that there are some people with the more severe symptoms that may well need some proffesional support, but in the interim this is a great book for helping people understand that there is light at the end if the tunnel. I cannot praise the writers highly enough.

Review: Very little of what this book says will pull someone out of OCD but more likely to make you think about it more and pull you in. I would recommend to someone who is suffering from this illness, to give this book a HARD pass. It has educational value for somebody who does not suffer from OCD and who wants to learn a little about the different kinds of OCD but I would NOT reccomend for the person themselves, as it talks you into practises which themselves can become another OCD practice. Instead, find a by word of mouth professional, who specialises in this area, and work with them to understand and accept that uncertainty is a healthy part of life, and what can make it a happy, exciting part of life.
