Review: i did not know that John Grisham wrote comedy. I have enjoyed numerous legal thrillers written by him but this book kept me turning pages looking for the next humorous situation. A great read!

Review: I love John Grisham, I’ve read so many of his books but I was really disappointed with this. The neighbours came good in the end but they were such a self-righteous and judgmental lot. The Kranks shouldn’t have to explain to anyone their choices. I found the whole concept very frustrating, even needing to run around at the last minute instead of simple explaining things to their daughter. Why should someone be pressured into spending thousands of dollars just to keep up appearances. If it was a longer book I wouldn’t have even finished it.
