Review: This book is beautifully produced, with superb photographs and page layouts, as with all Dorling Kindersley Books. All cat lovers will enjoy drooling over the images! I bought it as a gift and the recipient was delighted. If I have a criticism, it is that an awful lot of the central part of the book is given over to double-page spreads of different cat breeds. I would have liked to see a bit more general information on cat behaviour, body language etc (this is covered, but not in much detail). So my advice is to take a good look at the contents page of the book and at the sample pages within the 'look inside' feature on the Amazon entry, to see what you are buying, and then you can be sure it has the right emphasis for you.
