Review: This is certainly an interesting read and also a book that promises much, as any book claiming to reveal the secrets of the universe would be. Needless to say it ultimately fails in this respect, as do any and all books that make such claims. Still, there are some good parts which will give you a few "aha" moments and reflect on where you can do better in your life. But you don't I'm afraid get a bullet point list on the meaning of life. Douglas Adams is as much use as this book in that respect. I said in my review title there is a major caveat. It's this: The subject of this book claims that God himself spoke to him and gave him his answers. But this is not mentioned until quite late on. Now you can make of that what you will. Some will say this is an amazing sign, others will claim this is proof this is little more than yet another unprovable and ultimately pointless guide which contains the sum total of nothing. Essentially the universe was revealed to this man by being a good person and working very hard then having a "God moment". I'll let you make your own mind up on that one! Those of you on a journey of self help and self discovery who are looking for material and guidance based on actual provable results might want to give this one a swerve. That aside however this is a curious read and worth a look if you want an alternative view.
