Review: A delightful hardback book purchased as part of my personal collection of Winnie the Pooh books and other Pooh Bear items. "Once There Was A Bear"; a beautifully illustrated book by Mark Burgess in the style of the original artist, E.H. Shepard and the text cleverly written by Jane Riordan in the style of A.A. Milne. The prequel of the original Winnie the Pooh stories, this charming text is ideal for all age groups, even "old children" like me who has been reading about Pooh Bear for over sixty years.
