Review: I cannot get enough of Aisling. I am always dying to find out what she's up to and how she's coping. I love the humour, characters and how relationships develop in all the Aisling books.

Review: I was delighted to find that there was a new Aisling adventure to get stuck into but... oh dear. It just doesn't live up to the others. The quirks that make Aisling endearing are just not there, the new characters aren't engaging or interesting and the plot somehow passed me by. There are no amusing set pieces, the love interest is dull and I didn't pick up any NY atmosphere whatsoever. The ending was so rushed and unsatisfying, I actually turned the page, not realising it was the end. I'm so disappointed. If there's another in the series, I really hope it will mark a return to form, as Aisling is a real favourite with me and I would hate her magic just to fade away.
