Review: This story is set in a(nother) parallel world, where Angel Investigations is still up and running, but Cordelia and Angel have a side-line starring in a TV detective series, ‘Angel for Hire’. Into this parallel comes a blood-splattered figure from yet another world, where the Scooby-gang have all been killed by the big bad, and this is the only survivor. A third strand is in play as the story opens, and further complications ensue before we reach the end and the big reveal of the big bad.. This might have been a good story, but the cartoony artwork meant that non of the characters looked like their actors, and therefore you had no idea who was who, even when they were talking, apart from Gunn and Lorne, for obvious reasons (one was bald, one was green), and the figure chosen to be Wesley was just so wrong that it is hard to find the right words to denounce him.

Review: This new Angel reboot is just awful. It's an aberration that NEVER should have been published: Riley is Fred's ex-boyfriend, and she is a Slayer; she dates - a literally rotten - corpse, her Watcher Wesley. Angel is a star on a TV show. Enough is enough. Just terminate these comics, please!
