Review: I haven’t read a poetry collection for leisure in a very, very long time, but I felt I was in safe hands with Norms. It was relatively easy to fall into the cadence and rhythms of each poem, and there was a playful aspect to most if not all, even when tiptoeing to deeper emotions. There were a few that felt a little random and like classroom writing prompts, but I enjoyed the collection as a whole. Also as an American reading this, I found it fun looking into some Britishisms like B & Q and crockery.
