Review: The book (and the full series) are amazing! I'm re-reading after a 10yr break but realised the first 2 in the series were missing, no doubt lost in a house move. Book one arrived and I could not be more excited! I finished this in super quick time so made sure I ordered the second one in time to crack straight on with it. Lying in bed last night, coming to end and thinking 'yay... I know book 3 is on the shelf waiting for me' but to my absolute horror... the end of book 2 was missing! You can imagine the bitter taste of disappointment. I felt wounded and incomplete (just like the book).. But never fear, having just reported this to Amazon, they have another one to send out for me tomorrow. Moral of the story... if you order a book from Amazon, check it's all there before reading it and suffering the same heartbreak as me!

Review: The titles of David Eddings books always get to me. Coming to the end of the book I do wonder why it was named this when most of the book deals with Garion. That being said this is an excellent book. Even better then the first in the series. It does take time to get its feet but when it does you will be hooked. I have had this series for several years and only just got around to reading them lol. Anyways, I can highly recommend this book.
