Review: ive always been interested in the different types of bodylanguage, so id thought id get this book to learn more. So when i got it i randomly opened a page and read a paragraph, i was amazed at how little i knew about it. Its so interesting about how much you can see beneath words. you can learn what people are really thinking and that can be quite funny in some circumstances. A definate worth while buy, you wont keep your eyes off it and you learn so much. You'll see people differently which is a sort of 6th sense, which you can thank from this book. buy it is so worth it!

Review: Though well written, this book is a very superficial look into human behaviour. A lot of the facts that are presented to the reader are things that you will already know; as another reviewer comments, it's mostly common sense rather than anything fully illuminating. In this title, Collett manages to cover a wide range of behaviours by skimming over each topic without every truly stopping to look at anything in detail. As a result, you'll read a lot, but learn very little. If you're looking for an in-depth, clinical text on tells/human behaviour, then you really will need to look elsewhere. However, if you're looking to dip your toe in the waters of psychology but the idea of a textbook terrifies you, then this could be a reasonable launchpad.
