Review: Wonderful book so much information and recipes plus it includes programs tailored for certain hormonal issues you would normally pay so much money for this if went privately to nutritionist. Honestly I think even ingredients are possible to buy and store. Love it. Going to buy more books from this author!!!

Review: Do you cook with camu camu? How about coconut aminos? Do you know your cassava flour from your teff flour? Perhaps you've been waiting for permission to go ahead and eat sprouts every day instead of just choking one or two down at Christmas? If so, this book is for you. Seriously, I'm so disappointed with this book. The recipes have ingredients lists as long as the 8 inch kelp strips you'll be required to put in them, and many take considerable time and effort. I know that eating well requires a degree of going over and above, but it needs to be practical and sustainable. I just can't regularly boil cow feet (really) in my kitchen for 72 hours. When I weigh that against my sometimes horrible perimenopause symptoms, I'll take the symptoms. There's a cost issue, too. It's super expensive to follow this regime. All in all, the whole thing is so complicated, obscure and off-putting that I can't see how anyone gets to grips with it. Some of the recipes sound tempting, and the pictures are beautiful, but as soon as you realise you need to source several ingredients online and use a high spec blender and food processor, you'll be reaching for your trusty traditional cookbooks.
