Review: This really is a very special item indeed and an interesting concept that actually works! When you get the book (which is a really nice to have item in itself), you can access a wealth of extras, not least the Crooked album itself. I have followed Kristin's carrer for some time now and can honestly say that this album is definately one of her best. The songs, the instruments, that voice....its all there and definately a return to form. Not only that but you can download another 2 EPs which will give you all told about 80 mins worth of music (inc the Crooked album). So basically for less than a tenner you're getting a fantastic full length album, 2 EPs, a beautiful hardback book to accompany the album and other extras on line as well. Bit of a no-brainer really. If you've admired the work of Ms Hersh at any stage in her career, then this is for you. And if you've never heard of her, its still for you.

Review: Another masterpiece from Kristin Hersh. Any fan of her will love this. A great and very much with the times concept of buying music. The contents of the book please the eyes as much as the downloaded music sates the eardrum. Value for money is right up there as well as the usual high level of craftsmanship. A must have for anyone. Not just for fans.
