Review: My 8yo who we struggle to get reading is devouring this book. We took it with on holiday recently and one night I had to go and stop him from reading at around 11pm, he was reading this for over 2 hours solid. That should say enough :) It's a fun book, plenty of the facts I didn't know myself. It's also quite cool how you can either read it sequentially, or can follow the facts to different pages and jump around the book following the trails you are interested in. I have noticed from other similar books that they can be very North American focussed. This book has a good balance. It has facts about everything and anything, doesn't feel focussed on any particular area. Personally, I think it is important for people to develop their general knowledge and this book is certainly helping.
