Review: Amazon: It looks like Amazon dropped my book directly on its corners several times before shipping it. If I wanted a "good" condition used book, I'd have bought that. The book: It's incredibly full of stories about Faviken's food. The images leave a lot to be desired. Not because the photography is poor, but because they are shrunken and the brightness is dulled perhaps from the choice of paper and/or ink. The plates are so small and dark one needs a magnifying glass and noon daylight to see detail. Why does a plate only take up less than one twentieth of a page or only 1 1/4"? It's a pretty, rustic wooden table, but I want to see the food. Was it rushed to production to meet pre-orders? Stop pre-ordering and giving incentive to make poorly finished or unfinished products!
