Review: Honey and Clover doesn't have much of a plot, its too busy being funny and jumping around to other characters and their 'life mishaps' to really have a structered narrative. As the first volume dictates, its all about the journey along the way--thats the best way to describe this manga. Enjoy the ride!

Review: In this volume 3, you can find Morita's inner gentleness to other characters. Morita, who owns a god-like art talent, and who also has a wonderful character which is charmingly difficult for ordinary people to understand, show you his concern to Hagu, Takemoto and Ayu. Conversation between Morita and Ayu in chapter 16 is my favorite scene in this volume. Morita did not directly reply to her questioning, but she understood his kindness, and he also knew her appreciation. Extra words were not necessary between them. He does not request anyone to pay back to his kindness. Perhaps his inner gentleness will be also one of gifts from the God.

Description: The earliest evidence of honey being enjoyed in Scotland dates back to 1000 years BC - an Iron-age beaker that once contained mead was found in a burial chamber in Fife. Since before history, honey has added delicacy and sweetness to the Scottish diet. Scottish honey, with its fragrances of heather, meadowsweet, clover and birch, is a unique, magical ingredient, and the Honey Bible features a host of easy-to-prepare recipes drawing on this wonderful resource. Liz Ashworth introduces us to its versatility from dishes as varied as Medieval sweet pickled salmon and honey-spiced beetroot, to the delectable cranachan and more contemporary chocolate honey fudge cake. Prepared in collaboration with one of the UK's oldest and largest honey farms, Chain Bridge in the Borders, this book draws on the experience and traditions of generations of skilled beekeepers and Scottish cooks in the use of this quintessentially natural and organic food. Chain Bridge honey farm is a flourishing family business started by beekeeping advisor William Selby Robson in 1948. Specialising in natural honey products they produce everything from honeycombs to beeswax candles. Birlinn General The Chain Bridge Honey Bible - shop the best deal online on thebookbug.co.uk

Description: My mother chose Clover because she wanted me to have a lucky name. Four-leaved clovers are considered very lucky, I believe. Clover Moon lives in poverty-stricken Victorian London, and her brilliant imagination is her best escape. Until tragedy plunges her into a world of grief. Clover soon realises that everything she loved about home is gone. She hears of a place she could run to, but where will she find the courage - and the chance - to break free? Could leaving her family be what she needs to find a place that really feels like home? Clover Moon is a brilliant and brave heroine from the wonderful world of Hetty Feather, brought to us by the bestselling Jacqueline Wilson. Portrays the trials and tribulations of Victorian England vividly and with compassion. Highly recommended - The Bookbag.
