Review: The book shows you train routes through Europe. I think it would have been really great and inspiring if you just wanted to go on "a train trip" rather than travel through specific countries. I want to travel from estonia south to Turkey and this route was not discussed so I decided to return the book.

Review: This guide contains some basic information about how to travel around Europe by train, but it lacks detail. The book is also very badly edited and I kept noticing missing words and incomplete sentences - it's disappointing that more effort wasn't made to check the proofs before printing. There are much better guides available. This one doesn't contain much of the interest and insight provided by more experienced and enthusiastic authors. There are some lovely pictures, but that doesn't make up for the lack of substance and sloppy editing.
