Review: Stephen Booth one of my favourite authors. as with all of his books they capture the time and place in which the stories are set. Usually the Derbyshire Peak district. Recommended.

Review: This is a very thin plot padded out with descriptions of Derbyshire and Birmingham that, not only have little to do with the story but are superfluous to it. Only at the very end did it hold my attention. I read this for the book club I belong to and it was an act of loyalty that took me to the end of the book. I think the author should write travel books. He’s good at the descriptions
