Review: This is another excellent book by Michael Morpurgo. About a young boy who lost his father in the war and his friendship with a chimpanzee, I am reading this to my son a chapter at a time, we have not yet finished the book, but you go chapter to chapter wanting to hear more...he is just 7 and loving the story. I can recommend Michael Morpurgo books - we have read, so many of his books - and they have all been loved we are starting again with our youngest son. Age range from 6-11 yrs - the younger age may require you to read it to them (depending on ability) but they can grow into reading this for themselves.
