Review: My son who was mad about dinosaurs as a small child now has a small child of his own to share the magic of dinosaurs with. They both love this book (probably my son more than my grandson) and enjoy the rhythm and sound of the rhymes together.

Review: My (just) 3-year-old son loves this book. I am not always eager to read it to him, though, because many of the poems are quite badly written and a challenge to read aloud. Some are great (like the Roly Poly one a reviewer mentioned earlier) but too many of them lack rhythm. The factual inaccurateness (mentioned by another reviewer) doesn't bother me at all. In fact, although it's not a great poem to read aloud, the one with humans hiding and whispering about the 'doyouthinkhesaurus' is funny. So all in all I certainly don't regret buying it as the boy loves it.
