Review: It was hard to follow because of the viewpoint switching from Rimaru to some other character from chapter to chapter without explicitly saying it was "X" character. We are suppose to pick up from context clues. There were a lot of names thrown at us at once. It's hard to point out what's wrong, but easier to point out what's another light novel does write. "The acendance of a bookworm" puts clear illustrations (not sketches) at the beginning of the book to remind the reader who the characters are and how they are related, even a map of the region, and also random illustrations of critical scenes with new characters. Because, I think, they understand the further you get into a story, the more confusing it gets with more characters and especially for characters you don't see or mention often. For that reason, I would rather follow the manga or even anime because I don't enjoy the light novel as much.
