Review: So sad to be in this position, but amazing how this is transforming this child.

Review: This book is just "OK". I found some of her examples of responses to a child a little patronising. I think a lot of the techniques are pretty much already known by parents with reactive children and have probably learnt things suggested through trial and error, like leaving the child to calm down on their own but be close by, give them space when needed, looking for triggers and thinking about triggers after an action has taken place and think how to avoid an issue in the future etc. It was interesting to read about how a child can feel and how that can cause a specific action, but that's about it. If I were you I'd download a Kindle sample and maybe look at more in-depth reviews before buying the book.
