Review: I love reading Camilla Lackberg books especially Erica and Patrick, and other familiar characters who always appear in the series about Tanumshede Police Station. Brilliantly written, all of her books which I have no hesitation in recommending. Enjoy.

Review: I enjoyed the first few books in this series but I'm afraid that the author has now run out of ideas - and it shows. Not one but FOUR seperate plotlines one of which seems to have been heavily inspired by the film 'Heavenly Creatures', the other by the Columbine shootings, a subplot about Syrian refugees which seems to be an opportunity for the author to lecture her Swedish readership on their lack of tolerance (which I am sure they appreciated) and weirdly a subplot set in the 17TH CENTURY which seems to have no real relevance to the rest of the book. After a while I started to skim over that one. Erica's obession with her mother-in-law's sex life quickly got on my nerves and while the book is just about readable my expectations were dashed when the main murder plot (which should have been the focus of the while thing) just fizzles out in a lacklustre ending. To add insult to injury she ends the book on a cliffhanger no doubt to ensure that the reader buys the next book in the series. Overall not recommended, certainly not at the full price.
