Review: I was recommended to read Cadfael because I like history. These stories are good from all points of view. Good storyline, plausible characters, fascinating historical fact, clever plots. They make you want to 'come back for more'. I have bought the Cadfael Companium because I have been so drawn into those 12th century times and want to look at maps and absorb the characters in greater detail. If you ever wanted to be in a plane, looking down on people of those times, these are the books for you!

Review: Cadfael is the perfect mix of easy reading/mystery. Highly reccomended. I'm looking forward to reading this book but was posted the wrong # in the series by the seller. Not a big deal as I would have bought it anyway eventually.
