Review: So many new characters I really hope they come back. It was an amazing mix of stories which really explain why he has become so good and useful in the area. I love how the women in the neighbourhood have rallied around him yet his attitude keeps him respected in the yakuza ranks. A great set of shorts and really looking forward to the next one!

Review: Rating system: 1 star = did not like 2 star = it was okay 3 star = liked it 4 star = really liked it 5 star = it was amazing 3.5/5 There's a running theme of retired yakuza popping up in generic every day jobs, and I love that. They all take their tasks super serious. Miku seems incompetent at household things. Her kitchen skills are kind of scary. She's lucky she has Tatsu to handle things for her. Possible overarching plot getting started in this volume. All the books have a couple bonus chapters at the end. I love the ones starring Gin, their cat. There's an omelette recipe in the back of the book so you can try making the same omelette Tatsu served in one of the chapters.
