Review: A fantastic informative reference book. It covers all aspects of engine performance and is written in an easy to read format. Full of useful facts and guidance, ranging from the fundamentals of engine performance theory to the practicalities of improving the performance/economy of your engine. Although written about the A Series engine it is a very valuable guide to the general principles of engine operation and tuning.

Review: A little wordy in areas and technicaly dated now. The copious charts, illustrations and photos could be better size and quality in places and the text wrap is just messy! But there is no better Author or book available on this subject.
