Review: Andy NGO, few had even heard of his name or Antifa until relatively recently. Yet Andy's name has in some cases, been smeared by main stream media and left wing politics, whilst Antifa has been described by the American president, Joe Biden, as "an idea". That in itself should tell you why this book shouldn't exist, and why you should read it to educate yourself on this disturbing topic and the rise of left wing extremism. Andy has written an honest, personal and critical account of his experiences with far left radical extremism, even being beaten and hospitalised for documenting the riots, looting and hateful violence displayed by both Antifa and BLM. These groups have large swathes of both political leaders and the press being openly apologetic for them, why? The fact that seems to escape Antifa, BLM and their apologists, is that what is touted as supposedly anti-fascist, anti-racist organisations, scream nothing less than fascism, itself wrapped up in a thin veneer of anarchist/socialist ideology that displays itself as the epitome of intolerance and persecution. This book not only documents the extreme violence displayed by this group, but also does a fantastic job of explaining Antifa's tactics, fundamentalist ideology, beliefs, use of propaganda, radicalisation methods and recruitment process, something that is eye opening in itself. The left wing media will have you believe that Antifa are a fringe, rag tag group of disaffected, disorganised and ultimately leaderless millennials, nothing could be further from the truth. Through the sophisticated use of the TOR network and the Tails OS to hide their online activities, to the encrypted mobile app Signal to communicate with each other, fake Twitter accounts, doxing or publicly releasing private information about perceived enemies or opponents, and the support of left wing businesses that distribute their propaganda and providing training spaces, it all points to the real Antifa, and they really don't like you knowing about it. Sometimes to better understand someone's motives, beliefs and what drives them forward, it can be useful to understand the history of where the genesis of Antifa came from. From it's beginnings in post WW2 East Germany, it's spread across Europe and ultimately the emergence in America, chronicles the rise of the radical far left mindset and it's insipid reach into our society. It's also sadly ironic when you consider that Antifa's tactics of propaganda, use of psychological intimidation and radicalisation, is essentially a blue print from Hitler's Nazi Germany, something that Joseph Goebbels himself would have no doubt recognised if alive today. They say "silence is violence", in a world of double speak, paranoid "wrong think", disinformation and general fear porn, this book dares to speak out and does a marvelous job of exposing not just Antifa and BLM for what they are, but the gutless politicians and media that support, and in some cases endorse, their disgraceful activities. Well done Andy, and thank you for your bravery and persistence, on what must have been, and still is, a terrifying journey to expose the truth. Ultimately, and in time, history will be the judge for groups such as Antifa, BLM and their supporters, and the true impact that they have had on our society. Simple truths require simple answers most of the time, what lasting good have these people brought to us? Have they enlightened the masses and moved us further towards peace? Have they lifted people from poverty or served their own ends? You decide. And if it all goes terribly wrong, and these people end up running the world, I'll see you in the re-education camp, air dried crickets and dirty rain water for lunch, same as yesterday and the day before that... remember, don't look them in the eye, they don't like it.

Review: As a Pole and someone who has consistently seen a rise in communist and socialist attitudes within my country of residence (UK) I can say this book offers an important insight into the history and actions of one of the more violent left wing organizations. The information within it seems mostly accurate and it is a useful read for anyone seeking to understand the extent of the left-wing side of polarization in countries like America. It's worth the read, albeit, I would encourage pairing books like these with books about the more right-wing threats within America. I do also wish the author would touch a little more about Antifas actions abroad as well.
