Review: I spent a bit of time looking about for a book on Van Gogh for my 5 year old. He's taken an interest in art and I wanted something which could give info in a way kids can understand without skirting around the reality. This is BRILLIANT! It not only gives the child an understanding of the type of art Van Gogh did but also a history of his life, family, illness and death. It is written and presented in a way that children will understand and appreciate.

Review: I bought this for my six year old granddaughter who loves looking at art and learning about it. After one promised read together it will be a gift for the charity shop. Theenglish used is not only American and not U K English but it is full of Americanisations. Added to which the text gives little information about V V G and is very disjointed. A waste of money.
