Description: The penguins are back, in a new format and with a fresh new cover! The family in 365 Penguins finds a penguin mysteriously delivered to their door every day for a year. At first they're cute, but with every passing day, the penguins pile up | ??along with the family's problems. Feeding, cleaning, and housing the penguins becomes a monumental task. They're noisy and smelly, and they always hog the bathroom! And who on earth is sending these kwak-ing critters? Bright, striking illustrations with lots of opportunity for counting (and lots of laughs), 365 Penguins has become a perennial wintertime favorite since it first came out in 2006. . Review: My own children are teenagers and way too old for this book ,HOWEVER they stood with me in a theatre gift shop whilst I read aloud to them ( not done that for a while) and they giggled and pointed out particularly fabulous bits of illustration (there are lots) and were quite happy to do so. It is well written with some interesting mathmatical twists that are amusing the illustrations are fantastic if simple and I love love love the huge size of it ( that is what initially drew us to it in the foyer). We enjoyed it so much I felt the need to purchase a copy ..as I said my children are way too old ...so I sent a copy to my wee nephew in Germany.

Review: This was a great book with wonderful illustrations, really good for helping kids with their maths but also fun. I bought it for a 3 year old as it was listed under this age group though I think it would be more suitable for a 6/7/8 year old as some of the maths is a bit advanced for a 3 year old. Hopefully he will enjoy the story and pictures now and it will help him with his maths when he is a little old -he loves penguins and it contains plenty of them!
