Review: My daughter loves this book. And it is a great introduction to the effectiveness of strike action. 5 stars. Amazon workers could do well to read this book.

Review: I loved Elys Dolan's work when she was getting published by Noisy Crow, but I can tell exactly how this book got made. Oxford University Press came to her, said, "we want you to make an Easter book," and then she produced this. OUP sure does love their holiday books. It's fine, it's just it's not nearly as creative as her other books where she came up with everything on her own, including the theme. In this book the bunny is a bad evil corporate bunny who gets too greedy and life teaches him a lesson. It's just not a very interesting story line and is a bit too moralising. My 4 year old woke me up from a deep nap on Easter to read it again, though, so maybe I'm being to harsh. If it were any other author I'd probably rate this higher, I just really expect a lot from Elys because her other stuff is just so good :). As usual the art is amazing. Anyway, I can't blame OUP for this, because I in fact bought this for Easter, whereas the other books I got out of the library, so their evil greedy corporate plan worked...
