Review: Straight-forward, no-nonsense, sort of book. Good reference book for medical herbalists. It covers the basics, which for children's health, can be wholly different to other groups of the population. For parents, the author has written this book in such a way as to give confidence in being able to care, naturally, for the sick child (within the confines of what is covered in this book, i.e. the general childhood complaints).

Review: Excellent book for pregnancy, newborns, babies and children. As someone who wants to have a homebirth I'm really excited to see the section on monitoring newborns, specifying safe respiration rate, temperature, pulse rate, etc. My only criticism is that I don't have many herbs in my garden so will have to order most of what is required to create the remedies.
