Review: I haven't read it yet, but I love so much about this book! A beautiful cover, traditional vintage style illustrations, it's full of information and looks great as a coffee table book. Perfect for my cottage style home. I couldn't be happier...and yes, this is a bit of a rave review, but it is just so lovely! It's the quality of old fashioned books, will last for years and be a great point of information and enjoyable browsing. Perfect as a gift...to yourself or (if you actually can part with it!), friends and family.

Review: The book structures itself as an introduction to Botany for gardeners which explained a lot of topics covered in the book is only surface deep. The only thing negative I would say is how the book is structured. It starts with specific knowledge and then works way up to the general which is against tuition of how to scholar would approach the subject.
