Review: When Kate receives a letter asking her to visit Saltaire to hear something from the past she doesn't expect a dead body. This case is set in Saltaire (now a world heritage site) and she is hired to find out who is undercutting the Salts contract with Montague Burton. More bodies turn up....and Rosie Sykes is in hospital ..... Will Kate and Mrs Sugden fall foul of the curse of Milner Field? Will they solve the case? Love these characters. This is not a cosy mystery but a good book nonetheless as it tells of a time gone by. I hope there are more books about Kate Shackleton. If you like these try the Maisie Dobbs series by Jacqueline Winspear. The writing style is easy to understand and it will keep you guessing but as time goes by you too will pick up the clues. Enjoy.

Review: The least interesting of all her novels. Could not really get into it. Sadly, almost boring.
