Review: I have to admit that I was unsure whether I would like this new mystery series of books but made my mind up to try the first one. I, for some reason, thought it might be harrowing as it was a prison series. I have read all the Kate Shackelton books and enjoyed them so why did I doubt this new series. I really enjoyed this book and learned a lot. In fact I found it difficult to put it down. I should be working at the moment but before I do I shall order book 2. I am so pleased to find another set of books to read.

Review: I've read lots of Frances Brody's books and have enjoyed them all. This was a bit different being about a prison governor but still enjoyable.
