Review: I gave this to several people for Christmas and they all loved the idea of having a complete surprise every day. The contents range from classic weepies and stories of the fight for racial equality to love poetry and children's rhymes. Each day has an introduction and I did find some of those a little irritating, but overall this book is a joy.

Review: Not the best of choices compared to the winter poems I have read in the past. But a good bedtime collection. It is part of a quartet so must be difficult to find a good selection.
