Review: I bought this books after reading a Daisy book from local library. All Daisy series are so funny, easy to read and simple stories. My child read those book with joy and I also like it too. A must read hilarious series for kids. Thank you.

Review: My 6-year-old daughter loves the Daisy books and we started reading this one before Christmas. I'd say that the ending of the Christmas story isn't quite the strongest - the build up hinted at something more - but it was still very enjoyable and frequently laugh-out-loud funny. Daisy remains one of the best female lead characters in young children's fiction, being a natural mischief-maker without being deliberately badly behaved. The second story in this collection is 'Daisy and the Burglars', which was an unusual editorial choice given that the story is actually set in the middle of summer (I'd originally assumed that it would deal with a spree of pre-Christmas burglaries, or something similar). So I've no idea why it's in a winter themed book. It's no real problem, though. The story is interesting enough and follows Daisy and Gabby's exploits in forming a detective agency.
