Review: I've said it before about other Adult Piano Adventure books, but I'll say it again: I can't recommend this book highly enough. I have never had a piano lesson in my life, but thanks to the Adventure series, I am not doing too badly. I am currently up to about page 100 of book 2 of the All In One piano lessons, and I thought I would have a go at this book. I'm glad I did! It is full of simple arrangements of popular pieces of music, covering quite a spectrum of musical styles. There are theme tunes to films and TV series, and classic music hits of the seventies through to today. For someone of my skill level, a lot of these are still too difficult for me, but I expect I will get more as I work my way through my All in One book 2. However, those that I can get are driving me to improve, and I feel confident that I will get there in the end. As with the other books in the series, the music sheets also include the finger numbering to aid you, which I find essential. The arrangements are much simpler and shorter than the originals. For example, the James Bond Theme Tune is more a taster of the full big band arrangement from Doctor No, but still has enough for you to get the feel for playing such a well known piece of music. So, if you are doing well with your piano lessons and you feel like rewarding yourself, this is definitely one to consider!

Review: Somewhere Over the Rainbow in the key of F, no. Should be in C. I Will Always Love You, key of D, no. Should be in C, Bb, or A. Send In the Clowns. Not just in a bad key, but gutted to first and last verse. So, again, totally worthless. The Sound of Silence, in Dm, does not work for singing. Am or Bm would be better. And, my biggest disappointment Bridge Over Troubled Water is too high in C, and incomplete. The keys of A, or even, Bb would be good for singing. Nobody wants to sing popular songs that spend awhile at the very top of the treble clef. And, no, all you non-singers, it's not just me. Singing these songs down an octave is not an option either, as they are way too low then. And this is just an overview of every song that I bought this book for. I'm sure these are not the only songs in this book that will work to hone piano skills, or just instrumentally. Personally, I am so sick of incomplete songs and/or songs in unsingable keys in Faber books, other than the method books, this is my last Faber purchase.
