Description: Experience the second CHERUB international bestseller in graphic novel format! James Adams' mission is to succeed where dozens of attempts by undercover police officers have failed. When CHERUB kids go undercover, no one suspects that they are trained professionals, working to infiltrate criminal organisations that have eluded MI5 and the police for years. James Adams is on his biggest mission yet, working to nail Europe's most powerful cocaine dealer. He'll need all his specialist training if he's going to bring down the man at the top. The reason for CHERUB's existence is simple: adults never suspect that children are spying on them. For official purposes, these children do not exist. Review: This is the second book in the CHERUB series and is as gripping as the first. This time James is on a mission to become part of Europe's biggest cocaine drug gang in an attempt to bring down its drug lord, Keith Moore. This book was a real page-turner with lots of dangerous and exciting twists and turns. The descriptive way it is written made me feel very involved with the story and characters - I would even find myself holding my breath in anticipation at times. As part of this undercover mission, James and the other teenage undercover spies (Kyle, Nicole and Kerry) become friends with Keith Moore's children. This is where things get difficult for James as he becomes very close to Keith Moore's son, Junior. The story also shows that whilst criminals can be cunning and nasty, they can also have a likeable side to them. In this book, James is forced to realise that situations are not always black and white and he has to make hard choices in terms of what he is supposed to be doing. Muchamore deals with some hard issues in this book - the drug trade, guns and violence, however I think it is good that these issues and their consequences are dealt with in books for teenagers as they are important in todays world. Muchamore also manages to combine this with some humour and normal teenage issues such as teenage romance. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly rate it to other young teenagers
