Review: Well done Casey this book is brilliant! To some readers this book may have caused some shock and upset as most people never come across cases like this. There are many children living very similar lives to that of Sophia and suffering in the way that she did. Which is why we need more foster carers like Casey and Mike(if only I had a spare room)they provide a safe and happy atmosphere in which a child can experience positve family life. Crying For Help is a brilliant account of a very damaged 12 year girl and the support that Casey and her family gave her during her stay with them. Casey gives a very honest and emotional account detailing all the events that occurred and the effects on her and her family, some of which were truly heartbreaking. All credit to Casey and Mike for their hard work and determination in getting Sophia the help that she really needed, it was no easy task. I do hope that things will go well for Sophia in the future and that you will continue the amazing fostering work you do for many years to come. Crying For Help is a must read and I look forward very much to Casey's next book.

Review: It’s a shame the writing style of this book wasn’t of better quality, I felt Sophia’s story deserved more. Unfortunately the majority of the chapters ended with “Little did we know...” or very similar phrases, which, to me at least didn’t do the storytelling any justice, and so I ended up getting more frustrated in that than truly getting emotionally invested in what was happening. This however, does not negate the harrowing experiences of both Sophia and the Watson Family, so I end up disliking myself, for not liking this more.
