Review: Amazing book with beautiful and inclusive illustrations. Poems like Spiders and Hector the Horrible Hedgehog have a very David Walliams feel to them which is quite a compliment as I love all of his stuff. My personal favourites are Waterfall, Man in Town and Solitary Bee. Although my overall favourite is Letter from a Football. How the poet evokes such emotion over a deflated and forgotten piece of leather is incredible. Magical stuff. I cannot wait to see what Alex does next. Darren

Review: I received this poem book today and couldn't stop reading until I got to the end. Great variety of poems; some silly, some funny, some sensitive and thought provoking, and it's illustrated beautifully. The two poems at the back are written by competition winners which I think is a lovely touch and has inspired my daughter's to try and write their own poetry. They are also looking forward to having a poem read to them each night :)
