Description: Stephanie's out of the frying pan and into the firing line. Finger Lickin' Fifteen is the spiciest, sauciest, most rib-sticking Stephanie Plum adventure yet. Janet Evanovich's hilarious fifteenth novel in the series is not to be missed by fans of Harlan Coben and Sue Grafton. Praise for Evanovich: 'Sharp dialogue, a little slapstick and a little romance' (The Sunday Times); 'Utterly delightful' (Cosmopolitan); 'Romantic and gripping' (Good Housekeeping). Stephanie Plum's tempting mentor Ranger has come to her for help. Someone is trying to destroy his security company from the inside, and he wants her to investigate. On top of that, Stephanie's colleague has just seen two men decapitate a celebrity chef and the unexpected repercussions are more than Stephanie can stomach. But with a million-dollar reward offered for the killers, she may soon be biting off more than she can chew. What readers are saying about Finger Lickin' Fifteen:' Evanovich has surpassed herself with this head spinning delight' The writing is hilarious and I can't help but laugh out loud at some of the situations Stephanie Plum and her friends get themselves into' Another fun romp with Stephanie Plum.

Review: this was a Plum ROMP FROM BEGINING TO END.i LOVED EVERY MINUTE AND AT ONE STAGE WAS LAUGHING OUT LOUD -NOT MAY BOOKS GET ME DOING THAT. The noevl is so well constructed and planned and the minutest detail has relevance to the end -blink and it is missed . Thats why i love it.I never feel sold short. The characters i know and love. They dont change. They grow in age and develop, but no radical change to suit an ending etc. I have no idea who Plum will evetually settle with - if anyone. Her work mates and family are intertwined. I love the area of the Berg NJ .I feel as though i am part of that family. I love the Bounty Hunting job . I love Plums friends, who are staunch, her enemies and foes and rivals, stay the same and her 2 prospective boyfriends etc - leave me guessing,. THATS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT PLUM - HER NEED TO BE INDEPENDENT AND LIVE ALONE AND WORK - SHE NEVER FORGETS HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HER WORK GOES WRONG ALL THE TIME YET SHE DOESNT GIVE IN. As i started off a well crafted and fun but not gimmicky story, it could stand on its own 2 feet without being number 15. I look forwrd to them and escape into them and rejoice at the life. The hard seamy side of NJ IS NOT ESCAPED OR UNDERMIND IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM AND EACH NOVEL EMBRACES THE PACE OF MODERN LIFE AND WHAT IS CURRENT - THERE IS NO TIME WARP. I LOVE THIS BOOK - THANKYOU

Review: Number 15 in the series and it's the usual mix of chaos, murder, burning cars, and Cluck-in-a-Bucket chicken. The story is light and fun and there are some laugh-out-loud moments, with the 'mystery' element taking a back-seat to the general story which revolves around Lula's adventures with barbecue sauce and Ranger's problems with RangeMan (which see Stephanie back in his 300 thread-count sheets). BUT there are some complaints: 1. it's short and the story feels underdeveloped compared with books in the middle of the series, 2. not enough Morelli in particular (Stephanie and Joe are in an 'off' phase) 3. there's very little sexual tension at all, even with Ranger. However, the biggest problem for the fans however is that it is simply another 'same-old' book; there is no character development nor any moving forward with Stephanie's life (love life or anything else). I love this series, adore the characters and thoroughly enjoy the fast-paced chaos, but I really think it's time for Ms Evanovich to make a decision and take a definite step forward in Stephanie's life - even that means ending the series. Overall it's a light-hearted, good read which will leave you smiling, but if you were hoping for more, you're going to be disappointed.
