The designs have been inspired by kimono patterns - many dating back to the Edo period. Each paper is printed by hand by family run studios in Kyoto who we are proud to support. Each colour is a separate screen - it's a laborious process - which creates an incredible depth of colour and pattern. We apply the papers by hand in our bindery in England to a heavy weight luxury card. Size 107 x 155mm. Folded, Off-white 300gsm card. Handmade in England.
