Review: I love reading this book! A spiritual journey alongside Much Afraid as she travels up to the High Places with her companions, Sorrow and Suffering. How many of us identify with her fears along the way, both personal and those inflicted by her relatives who are the personification of humanity's negative qualities such as Pride, Resentment, Bitterness, Self Pity, Craven Fear... This allegory is, in my opinion, as spiritually defining as some of C.S. Lewis's works - different style but as deeply insightful and rewarding. Each time I read this book I identify with a part of her journey and rejoice in the knowledge that as she is transformed, so will I. Highly recommended!
