Review: As usual the horrible science books help educate children[ and adults] in a way that is both fun and gross. Both my sons love these books and enjoy telling people the really disgusting bits.I would recommend these books to every parent.

Review: Bought the Kindle edition for viewing on a Kindle Paperwhite. Every page in the book is rendered as a image so none of the text functions are available. The images are only half the page area so first you have to zoom in to make readable. Having to do this on every page destroys the fluidity of the reading experience. Tried it on an 8" tablet which zooms quicker that a Kindle, but still images have to be zoomed to be readable which is no good. My 9 year old son says this is the worst ebook ever. Publisher should have made a lot more effort on formatting this for sale as an ebook. There are plenty of other ebooks that mix text and pictures and make a very good job of it. If you have to display the whole page as an image why did you not make it the full size of the page?
